CPE Frequently Asked Questions

What method does NASACT use to track my attendance for CPE?

In-Person and Hybrid Events: NASACT uses a conference app and a tool called Conferences i/o. Attendees must have a device available (cell phone, computer or tablet) to check in and out of each session to log their attendance. Virtual attendees will also be required to enter attendance codes.

Webinars: NASACT uses Conferences i/o to track attendance. Participants must have a device available (cell phone, computer or tablet) to check in, enter attendance codes, and check out in order to get CPE.

How will I receive my CPE certificate?

CPE certificates are emailed to attendees after the conference or webinar.

How long will it take to get my CPE certificate?

We make every effort to send CPE certificates no later than three weeks after the conference or webinar. In some rare instances (e.g., when there is a holiday or if NASACT has several events back-to-back), it might take slightly longer.

What should I do if I do not receive my certificate and it has been longer than three weeks?

If you do not receive your certificate and it has been more than three weeks after the event, please email CPEQuestions@nasact.org. We will respond to you as quickly as we can.

What should I do if I need a copy of an old CPE certificate?

Please email CPEQuestions@nasact.org. We will respond to you as quickly as we can.

The NASACT Community

NASACT serves as the premier organization working to bring together state auditors, state comptrollers and state treasurers to cooperatively address government financial management issues. NASACT also manages two secretariats - the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) and the National Association of State Comptrollers (NASC). Both NSAA and NASC are included under the umbrella of NASACT’s budget and utilize staff hired by NASACT.
