FEDERAL AUDIT CLEARINGHOUSE RESUBMISSION FEATURE IS LIVE
The Federal Audit Clearinghouse, or FAC, has announced a new resubmission process designed to make it easier to correct previously accepted Single Audit packages.

In the past, if information in an accepted FAC submission needed to be corrected, users had to start over with a new submission, creating a duplicate record. With the new resubmission process, users can now return to an accepted submission, make the necessary changes, and resubmit it to the FAC.

Benefits include:
  • Simplifying the process for correcting errors or updating reported information.
  • Retaining existing submission data while making only the changes that are needed.
  • Maintaining a clearer connection between the original submission and subsequent corrections.Minor corrections will retain the original FAC acceptance date, while more substantial changes will result in a new FAC acceptance date.

The new process makes corrections more straightforward while preserving the integrity and transparency of FAC Single Audit data.

To learn more about how to resubmit an audit please visit the Resubmission Guide. If you have questions about the new resubmission process or need assistance updating a submission, please contact the FAC Help Desk.
