It is predicted that as much as 40 percent of state and local government workforces will be retiring in the next five years. The ability to not only effectively recruit, but also to retain their replacements will be a significant challenge for public sector HR professionals. This session outlines best practices for helping modernize your recruiting practices.

Lawrence E. Fitch leads the public sector business consulting practice for Workday and has more than 17 years of experience in public sector technical consulting in human resources, financial, payroll, and time and attendance systems. He is a member of the American Payroll Association, Society for Human Resource Management, Institute of Management Consultants and Lean Enterprise Institute.

NASACT also manages two secretariats - the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) and the National Association of State Comptrollers (NASC).
