For the first time in history, five generations now share the workplace, and leaders must balance a generation gap of multiple decades between the oldest and youngest employees. These issues are exacerbated during challenging times, such as the global Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath. Lindsey Pollak, a multigenerational workplace expert and New York Times bestselling author, will share her insights and actionable advice on such topics as managing teams (remotely and in person), succession planning, building employee morale and promoting inclusivity, all through a generational lens. 

 

Lindsey Pollak is a New York Times bestselling author and one of the world’s leading experts on millennials and today’s multigenerational workplace. She was recently named to the 2020 Thinkers50 Radar List, which honors 30 global management thinkers whose work is shaping the future of how organizations are managed and led. 
 
Lindsey’s latest book, The Remix: How to Lead and Succeed in the Multigenerational Workplace, was published by HarperCollins in 2019 and named a Book of the Month by both the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. HarperCollins will publish her next book, Recalculating: Navigate Your Career in Times of Change, a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, in March 2021. Lindsey is also the author of Getting from College to Career: Your Essential Guide to Succeeding in the Real World and Becoming the Boss: New Rules for the Next Generation of Leaders
 
Her speaking audiences and consulting clients have included over 250 corporations, law firms, conferences and universities, including Aetna, Citi, Estée Lauder Companies, GE, Goldman Sachs, Google, J.P. Morgan, Pfizer, Verizon, Yale, Harvard, Wharton and Stanford. Lindsey’s advice and opinions have appeared in such media outlets as The TODAY Show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and NPR.
 
Lindsey has served as an official ambassador for LinkedIn, a Millennial workplace expert for The Hartford and chair of Cosmopolitan magazine’s Millennial Advisory Board. 
 
She is a graduate of Yale University.
