Legislative IT Auditor

The OSA is looking for a full-time Legislative IT Auditor who is passionate about improving Colorado and committed to achieving results. We are looking for a creative, flexible, results-oriented team player with strong analytical skills, keen investigative instincts, and exceptional communication and people skills. This position will serve as an auditor within the OSA's IT audit division. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Review and test entity level and IT general controls related to the State's annual financial statement and federal compliance audit.
  • Assist with or perform planning, fieldwork, findings development, and reporting duties related to risk-based IT audits through the assessment and testing of IT and information security related processes and controls.
  • Develop and prepare work papers, audit findings, audit reports, and Legislative Audit Committee (LAC) presentations.
  • Assist with contract monitoring duties related to IT audit work.
  • Mentoring and assisting team members and providing constructive feedback.
Other related IT audit functions and duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in information technology, management information systems, computer science, accounting, or closely related field.
