The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is looking for an Investigative Auditor Manager to oversee the review of allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse of taxpayer funds. As part of our team, you will get to:
- Plan several investigations under the supervision of an investigative audit director.
- Manage investigations of alleged fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer funds involving state and local governments and state-funded nonprofit organizations.
- Conduct investigations in compliance with professional standards, internal policies and procedures, and investigative best practices.
- Assist the investigative staff with their development.
- Learn more about state and federal agencies, statutes, rules, regulations, and policies.

| Requirements |
Do you have what it takes?
- a bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in accounting and 5 years of experience in auditing/accounting, one of which must have been functioning as an audit lead or supervisor; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- an eagerness to learn and the ability to transfer knowledge from one task to the next.
- the ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
- the ability to review and interpret laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and technical and professional standards.
- strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to conduct interviews.
