Clark Partridge Receives NASC's Highest Honor

On Wednesday, March 22, D. Clark Partridge, former state comptroller of Arizona, was selected to receive the National Association of State Comptrollers’ Louis L. Goldstein Leadership Award. This is NASC’s highest honor. The award was presented by President Doug Cotnoir, state controller of Maine, at the 2023 NASC Annual Conference held in Portland, Maine.
 
Clark Partridge served as the state comptroller of Arizona between 2002 and 2019. In total, he had has more than 30 years of state service. He previously worked in public accounting for Arthur Andersen & Co. He attended Brigham Young University on a leadership scholarship, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant and a certified government financial manager.

He is a lifetime member and is a past president of both NASC and NASACT and served as NASACT's representative and as co-chair of the Association of Government Accountants' Intergovernmental Partnership for many years during his time as state comptroller.
 
The Louis L. Goldstein Leadership Award is named after Louis L. Goldstein, former comptroller of Maryland and legend among government finance officials. It is presented to recognize extraordinary excellence and leadership in state financial management and service to the association. View all past winners.
