The National State Auditors Association is pleased to announce the 2025 Excellence in Accountability Award winners. Awards were given in four categories, and the recipients will be recognized at the 2025 NSAA Annual Conference in East Lansing, Michigan.

• Louisiana Department of Education – Oversight of Students with Disabilities by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor

2025 Small Performance Audit

• Investigation of Housing Discrimination Complaints by the New York Office of the State Comptroller

2025 Special Project

• Jackson County Assessment Department Preliminary Review by the Missouri State Auditor

2025 Forensic Report

• Special Investigation of Clark County Sheriff’s Department Jail Commissary by the Indiana State Board of Accounts
