Getting There
The Hilton Burlington is located four miles from the Burlington International Airport (BTV). Taxi and Uber are available at a cost of $10 - $15/each way.

Opening Hospitality Suite
Come, relax and have some fun in our hospitality suite located in the Hilton Hotel. In addition to some light refreshments, we plan to have some games to energize those with a more competitive spirit! Reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones in the hospitality suite. 
 
  • Sunday, August 23
5K Fun Run/Walk
NASACT’s annual 5K Fun Run/Walk is a great way to start your day. The race route will be along Lake Champlain with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The start and finish lines are directly across the street from the Hilton hotel.
 
President’s Night on the Spirit of Ethan Allen
Join NASACT President Beth Pearce for a scenic sunset cruise on the Spirit of Ethan Allen. The boat dock is located two blocks from the Hilton hotel. A buffet dinner and beverages will be served while on board.

 
  • Monday, August 24
Event at the Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms
The Monday night event will be held at historic Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms. The Coach Barn was complete in 1902 and has served many uses over the years including once housing sheep, wintering heifers and hosting cattle auctions. The Coach Barn is situated on the banks of Lake Champlain. Enjoy local Vermont fare and local brews during this reception. 

 
  • Tuesday, August 25
State Night Dinner and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The State Night Dinner will be held in the Adirondack Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel. Enjoy a reception, dinner and live entertainment. We’ll announce the 2020 inductees into the NASACT Hall of Fame.

Guest Program
  • Monday, August 24
On Monday, registered guests will venture out for a day in Vermont’s capital district where they will visit Barre, the Granite Capitol of the World and head to Montpelier, Vermont’s capital city.  After a tour of the state capital and lunch in the capital café, you will be end the day with a stop at Morse Farm Surgarworks for a traditional Vermont creemee.
 
  • Tuesday, August 25
On Tuesday, registered guests will travel a scenic route to Middlebury, home of Middlebury College.  Along the way, your guide will share tales of the region’s rich history and point out unique landmarks and share bits of Yankee lore.  You’ll will visit the Morgan Horse Farm, Middlebury’s Pulp Mill Bridge and stop for lunch at the Waybury Inn, which was “The Stratford Inn” on the Bob Newhart TV show.

Travel Assistance

In order to encourage attendance at the 2020 NASACT Annual Conference, the NASACT Executive Committee has extended its travel assistance program. NASACT members in good standing will be eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to $1,500 to go towards registration and/or travel-related costs to attend the 2020 NASACT Annual Conference. The travel assistance funds may be used for the NASACT member or his/her designee to attend the conference. Reimbursements will be processed following the conference. 



The NASACT Community

NASACT serves as the premier organization working to bring together state auditors, state comptrollers and state treasurers to cooperatively address government financial management issues. NASACT also manages two secretariats - the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) and the National Association of State Comptrollers (NASC). Both NSAA and NASC are included under the umbrella of NASACT’s budget and utilize staff hired by NASACT.
