Arizona Auditor General and NSAA President Debbie Davenport invites you to attend the 2010 NSAA Annual Conference to be held in Carefree, Arizona, June 15 - 18, 2010. Committees will meet on June 15; the annual conference will begin on June 16.
This year's Annual Conference will be held at The Boulders. Nestled among the ancient boulders, vivid colors, and captivating wildlife of the Sonoran Desert, the ruggedly luxurious Boulders is situated on 1,300 sprawling acres in the foothills of Carefree, Arizona, just outside of Scottsdale.
The negotiated room rate for this year's NSAA Annual Conference is $169/single or double plus applicable taxes. To book your room, contact the hotel by calling (866) 397-6519 and indicating that you are with the National State Auditors Association. To get this special rate, you must call before the cut-off date of May 17, 2010. After this date, rooms will be offered only on a space and rate available basis.
Carefree, Arizona, is just north of Scottsdale, 33 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The Boulders is located 35 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Taxi service is available for an approximate cost of $80-$85 each way. Shuttle service is also available through SuperShuttle ("blue van") service. You may catch a shuttle upon arrival by stepping out to the curb and looking for the "Shared Shuttle Service" sign. SuperShuttle vans will make two to three stops on the way to the Boulders to drop off other passengers. Cost from the airport to The Boulders is approximately $35 per person. Advanced reservations are not required.
