15 Tools for Efficient Performance Auditing
A NASACT Training Webinar
Wednesday, September 15, 2010
2:00 - 3:50 Eastern Time

OVERVIEW

NASACT, in conjunction with the Association of Government Accountants and the Association of Local Government Auditors, is pleased to announce the latest in its series of training events addressing timely issues in government auditing and financial management.

This webinar equips participants with fifteen helpful tools to make performance audit planning, writing, and reporting more efficient. The session begins with a discussion of "efficiency" and defining audit production through the lens of issuing reports. Report issuance helps auditors achieve the promise and goal of performance auditing, which is to improve public accountability and decision-making. The session covers specific tools and suggestions to improve the efficiency of performance audit planning, writing, and reporting, including take-away tools that participants can use immediately on the job in each of the three phases of the audit. If you conduct, lead, or review performance audits, you'll learn how to use the valuable tools and techniques discussed in this session.

Please join us for this timely and informative training event. In addition to hearing scheduled segments from our speaker, you will be able to ask questions during a live Q&A session. This webinar offers something for all government auditors. Please share this opportunity with others in your government interested in this topic.

NEW: A computer with Internet access is required for this event. Audio can be heard through the computer or a phone line but requires you to connect to the webinar before being able to connect via the phone if you so choose this method.
