2010 NSAA/NASC Middle Management Conference

The National State Auditors Association and the National Association of State Comptrollers are pleased to announce the fifth annual Joint Middle Management Conference. The conference features tracks tailored to address the training needs of middle management staff in the offices of state auditors and state comptrollers, including staff specializing in the areas of audit and finance.

The planning committees consisting of the NSAA Auditor Training Committee, chaired by Lynn Canton (NY) and the NASC Middle Management Committee, co-chaired by Brenda Bolander (OK) and Kim Wallin (NV), have begun working on the conference. A draft agenda will be posted to the NASACT website soon.

Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City has it all - from the historic old west to the vibrant energy of Bricktown, the city's lively entertainment district. The museums in Oklahoma City hold artistic treasures, and the sports venues have something for everyone.

Conference Hotel

The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City Hotel is located in the heart of downtown and is within walking distance to the Ford Center Arena, Bricktown Canal and Entertainment District, Bricktown Ballpark, Oklahoma City National Bombing Memorial, Oklahoma City Arts Museum, Civic Center and five minutes from the state capitol.

Getting There

The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City Hotel is located ten miles from the Will Rogers World Airport. Super Shuttle offers transportation for approximately $17/each way; taxi service is approximately $20/each way.

Registration and Additional Information

The planning committees are excited about the agenda and the prospect of bringing together middle management staff from different areas in state government for networking and sharing of challenges and solutions.
