Program
Legislative Auditor Bruce Myers invites you to attend the 2008 NSAA Annual Conference to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, June 3 – 6, 2008.

Surprises and unique experiences make Baltimore the charm of the mid-Atlantic. A short drive from BWI airport, the conference hotel is within walking distance of the Inner Harbor which creates a fun and accessible destination for this year’s conference.

There are many activities to enjoy while you are in Baltimore, including the Hippodrome Theater, Camden Yards, Ravens Stadium, National Aquarium and Maryland Science Center. You’ll find a wide variety of top restaurants and shops to explore. So…plan to come early or stay late and enjoy all that this fabulous City has to offer.

The Conference Hotel
This year’s Annual Conference will be held at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center which offers a great location with Baltimore’s fun, beautiful and historic Inner Harbor only three blocks away. You’ll feel right at home in the spacious guest rooms and suites.

Getting There
The Sheraton Baltimore City Center is located approximately 25 minutes from the airport. Taxi service costs between $30 - $35; shuttle service provided by Super Shuttle costs $15 each way. Reservations are not required.

The registration fees for the 2008 NSAA Annual Conference are:

Members and members' staff $475
Other governmental personnel $525
Non-governmental personnel $600
Guest $150

CPE
Conference Objectives: To update state auditors on developments in accounting and auditing issues and to provide training in management skills.

Level of Knowledge: Overview.
           
Education or experience prerequisites: General understanding of governmental auditing.

CPE:  17 credits for the two-and-one-half-day conference.
