NSAA IT Conference and Workshop

The 2008 NSAA IT Conference will be held October 8 – 10, 2008, at the Eldorado Hotel in Reno, Nevada.  A pre-conference workshop will be held on October 7. 

Getting There
The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is located approximately 10 – 15 minutes from the Eldorado Hotel.  The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.  Taxi service is approximately $20 - $25 each way.

Registration Fees
Conference registration fees for this year’s conference and workshop are $350 for the conference and $150 for the workshop per attendee.

CPE Information

Conference Objectives:  To provide a forum for state auditors to learn about developments in information technology and electronic government issues.

Level of Knowledge:  Overview.
           
Experience Prerequisite:  General understanding of IT auditing including the use of information technology in the performance of state auditors' responsibilities.

CPE:  8 credits are recommended for IT workshop; 19 credits for IT conference.

The National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
