Executive The Executive Committee governs the overall operations of NASACT. The committee is elected from the membership annually and is comprised of a President, Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past-President, and nine other members including three auditors, three comptrollers and three treasurers.

Accounting,
Reporting and
Auditing (CARA)
The CARA meets by conference call about four times a year to discuss accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and other matters related to financial management of state government. In addition to NASACT members, representatives from the AICPA, the GASB, and NACUBO also participate.

Affairs Committee
(FMIAC)

The Financial Management and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee (FMIAC) considers and reviews issues related to state/local partnerships and improved relationships with federal finance officials.

International The International Committee provides state-level management leadership in international issues. Audit The Audit Committee provides financial auditors to conduct the annual financial audit of NASACT. The committee is comprised of three state auditors and the audit team leader is selected from the financial audit staff of the committee's chair.

Resolutions The Resolutions Committee receives and reviews proposals for resolutions to be considered by NASACT members at business meetings of the Association.
